A German-Ukrainian forward with Jewish roots who was acquired by Maccabi Haifa in the summer of 2023.
Born in Bamberg, Germany, Shuranov grew up in the youth department of Nuremberg and started playing for the club's senior team in the second league in 2020.
In May 2023, he was acquired by Maccabi Haifa and was not considered a foreign player due to his Jewish roots. He played for Ukraine's youth national teams and in 2020 began playing for Germany's U-21 national team.
In the three years before his arrival in Israel, he played for Nuremberg's reserve team and later for the first team, where he scored a dozen goals.
Unfortunately, at the start of the season in Israel, he suffered a severe injury, tore his ligaments, and underwent surgery in Germany.
