A defensive midfielder, a product of Maccabi Haifa's youth academy.

Hermesh was part of Maccabi "Hardi" Haifa's youth team that won the championship under the guidance of Mesay Dego (2022/23). He was a member of the starting lineup that participated in the UEFA Youth League group stage, the only time an Israeli team has competed in it, and played a key role in the sensational 1-0 away victory over Benfica.

He was loaned to Hapoel Afula, a team in the Israeli National League, where he scored three goals.
