Maccabi Haifa's home stadium, opened in 2014, has over the years become the fortress of the Greens. The atmosphere at Sammy Ofer Stadium has become legendary in Israeli football, and following the participation in the Champions League in the 2022/23 season, it has also gained recognition in European football.
Public Transportation
The most convenient and quickest way to reach Sammy Ofer Stadium on game day is via public transportation.
Israel Railways - The Hof HaCarmel station is located within a 15-minute walking distance from the stadium. The station is accessible by trains arriving from both the north and the south. For many games, Israel Railways provides special late trains specifically for fans, operating on a fill-and-go basis.
Metronit - The Metronit reinforces Line 1 and slightly adjusts its route so that the Metronit reaches right up to the stadium plaza.
Egged Bus Lines - The Hof HaCarmel Central Bus Station is located within a 15-minute walking distance from the stadium, making all lines arriving at the central station a viable means of transportation to the stadium.
Additionally, there are Egged bus lines that reach the stadium:
From Tirat Carmel - Lines 44, 45, 47, 49
From Atlit - Line 221
From Meariv and Hof HaCarmel settlements - Lines 691, 692
From Pardes Hanna and Zichron Yaakov - Line 202
From Hadera - Line 921
For those arriving by private vehicle, it is recommended to arrive at the stadium area at least an hour before kickoff, as the area is often congested.
