Maccabi Haifa's home stadium, opened in 2014, has over the years become the fortress of the Greens. The atmosphere at Sammy Ofer Stadium has become legendary in Israeli football, and following the participation in the Champions League in the 2022/23 season, it has also gained recognition in European football.
Sammy Ofer Stadium, a modern football stadium, was built to the highest standards and meets all stringent requirements across international frameworks. The stadium, which serves as the municipal stadium of Haifa, holds a UEFA category 4 certification and can host matches in all European competitions.
The stadium was constructed at a cost of over half a billion shekels.
It encompasses numerous spaces covering an area of approximately 60,000 square meters.
The stadium has a seating capacity of 30,696, all under a roof.
In designing the stadium, special emphasis was placed on the viewing angle from each and every seat to ensure it is optimal. Most of the stadium's rooms and facilities, spread across its 6 floors, are located on the western side of Sammy Ofer.
There are four fully equipped locker rooms available for the players.
Maccabi Haifa has a permanent locker room assigned exclusively to the team.
